Diversities are not to be considered as a burden but as an asset that
states can build upon. Unfortunately, however, diversity is often
considered by politicians as a problem that states have to accommodate.
On the contrary, one has to consider diversities as a chance for states
that are enriched by different languages, cultures, religions and
traditions. Only if a state is able not only to cope and accommodate
diversities but also lives out of the diversities and is able to make
use of its diversities will it be able to contribute for a sustainable
peaceful development.
